• The mass spectra obtained from angiotensins I and II (a decapeptide and an octapeptide, respectively) are presented. Both positive and negative ion spectra are obtained using fast atom bombardment. The sequence information obtained is confirmed by metastable scanning and by the analysis of acetyl derivatives of these peptides.
