• The purpose of this study was to begin validation of the Family Profile Form, a 126-item self-report paper-and-pencil test derived from a classification of more than 2,000 structured enrichment (SE) exercises. This instrument was constructed to link evaluation of couples and families with specific SE exercises. Reliability, discriminant, criterion, and concurrent validities with different samples of participants, couples, and individuals were found to be within acceptable limits of statistical significance, thus supporting the use of this instrument as a prescriptive link between evaluation and SE in preventive interventions with couples and families.
