The US is the most classic example of a post-modern state, having undergone the stages that Japan and Germany are going through. With the end of the Cold War, the US produces military hardware as weapons for transitory aggression. Global economy is also given more importance than domestic economy and successful trade relations with various countries become necessary. Additionally, popular culture focused on entertainment prevails over quality education. These are the dominant features of a post-modern state.
