Flikschuh juxtaposes Lockean and Kantian intuitions over a supposed right to revolution and sets out the public character of Immanuel Kant's morality of right. She also shows how Kant's no-right to revolution follows as a corollary from his public morality of right. In addition, she examines whether John Locke's affirmation of individuals' natural rights in the pre-civil condition coherently translates into the people's right in the civil condition.
