Beschreibungen/Notizen
Other than SA and the island of Mauritius, Zimbabwe has the highest level of contraceptive prevalence in sub-Saharan Africa. However, it still has relatively high fertility at 6.5 births per woman. Given that in 1984, 42% of Zimbabwean women ever in union believed that men have the sole responsiblity for deciding whether to use family planning, a male motivation campaign was launched in 1989. Assesses the current state of attitudes and knowledge amongst males. (SJK)
