• THE price of stocks have experienced a very singular depression during the past month. A small and temporary rise took place at the beginning of March, which was quickly followed by a more rapid decline. At the present period, the funds remain in a truly alarming state of depression; and their future fate depends so entirely upon circumstances, not yet developed, as to set conjecture at defiance.
