• The application of predictive control for current closed loop control of shunt Active Power Filter (APF) is analyzed. Through the mathematic model analysis of shunt APF, the internal mode of APF is deduced. Based on the analysis of predictive control theory, the current control loop of APF is researched and realized. This method improves the controlling precision and robustness of active power filter. The simulation and experimental results show that the method is correct and feasible.
