• Hello everyone! It's hard to believe we are approaching the 2nd quarter of the 21st century already! I am so pleased to be back as the Chair of the EMC Society's Education Committee, as I am looking forward to helping lead the committee members (both the previous ones and those of you who may join us soon) into developing and implementing programs and initiatives to help us all improve our skills to meet the challenges of EMC. While many of the “legacy” issues in EMC are still with us, we are all also experiencing new situations that didn't exist just a few years ago, such of the massive proliferation of wireless devices that are all competing for precious space in the electromagnetic spectrum. With that proliferation, it is becoming more important than ever to quickly and efficiently use well-known and understood analysis techniques, as early as possible in a project. As many of you have seen, fortunately there are many developments that have occurred recently with regards to low-cost instrumentation that can assist us in that work.
