• A 59-year-old woman visited our hospital with arthralgia for the past 2 years and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. Images from an examination performed 2 months after the initial visit are shown in c and d. After discontinuation of methotrexate, the thyroid size and hypoechoic area had decreased (c).
