- Describes a regulatory framework for point-of-care testing (POCT) devices which is consistent with the principles of the draft Therapeutic Products Bill 2018. Backgrounds that such devices are neither regulated in New Zealand nor is there a requirement for public or private hospital providers who use the devices to meet minimum accreditation standards for POCT. Proposes a framework to support decision making in hospitals, primary care and at home.
