• AbstractIn this article we provide a practical and comprehensive review of myeloid neoplasms with overlapping myelodysplastic (MDS) and myeloproliferative (MPN) features, with emphasis on recent updates in classification, particularly the utility of morphologic, cytogenetic, and molecular findings in better defining and classifying these disease entities. We provide the reader with a summary of the most recent developments and updates that have helped further our understanding of the genomic landscape, clinicopathologic features, and prognostic elements of myeloid neoplasms with MDS/MPN features.
