The case study of a four-year-old girl with intermittent stridor and episodic, position-dependent dyspnea accompanied by significant oxygen desaturation and occasional dysphagia is discussed. Bronchoscopy revealed a large, unspecified, pedunculated mass extending from below the left torus tubarius, obscuring view of the epiglottis, tilling the pharynx subtotally, and reaching the glottis. The child was consequentially intubated by means of bronchoscopy to secure the airway until surgical removal. The mass was removed by transoral surgery under transnasal endoscopic control. An auricle-Iike hairy polyp was found.
