• Key Points Ultrathin drug‐eluting stent (DES) constitute the workhorse stent for routine percutaneous coronary interventions. The Resolute Onyx is a novel radiopaque, ultrathin DES with very low crossing profile. In the present prospective, single arm study, Resolute (R) Onyx was non‐inferior and superior to a prior R iteration, in terms of late loss at 8 months follow‐up. Data are only preliminary due to sample size and length of follow‐up.
