  • The findings from a research conducted through the Howard Hughes Medical Institute on the brain's reaction to scents is presented. The focus of the study deals with identifying shaped molecules and their ability to give off odors that can be both pleasant and than turn fowl. A categorization of these odors are given as the olfactory system deciphers these smells in different combinations.
