• To the Editor: We read with interest the paper [1] by Bellomo & colleagues highlighting potential biases when reporting the mortality effect of multiple randomized clinical trials (RCTs) in the critically ill. The relative risk of death in the intervention group of patients was 1.0374 (95% CI: 1.0224-1.0526; P<0.001).
