• Highlights • The images of both standard and weight-bearing WB-MRI are analyzed using four measurements. • All measurements are easy to perform both on standard and WB-MRI to demonstrate patello-femoral maltracking. • Statistical quantitative result demonstrates that LPA and LPT measurements are the most useful. • Statistical qualitative analysis demonstrates that LPT is the most reliable measurement in unmasking a patello-femoral maltracking.
