• Catalogue to an exhibition of paintings, drawings, photographs, projections, prints, posters, installations, performance, and ceramics created between 1996 and 2002 by British artists. There are two texts. In her foreword, Fabényi provides an overview of the recent exhibition program of British art at the Mucsarnok in Budapest, considers the growth in the international reputation of the work created in Britain since the 1970s, and comments on themes and positions in Micro/macro. Farquharson traces changes in the British art scene over the past decade, with particular reference to works by the generation known as Young British Artists created during the period encapsulated by the exhibitions Freeze (1988) and Sensation (1997), and discusses the artists' relationship with the public, and works presented in Micro/macro, which take account of the dimensions of time and space and the issue of scale.
