- Highlights • It has been reported an advantage in overall survival in Hispanic populations. • We analyzed an Hispanic cohort of NSCLC patients cohort to explain this paradox. • We found a high prevalence of EGFR mutations and WSE among our population, particularly in women. • NSCLC risk factors differences between the two populations may explain the difference in survival.
