Zn by two species of fresh water fish (Oreochromis Nilocicus and Cyprinus Carpio) has been investigated in laboratory experiments. Different activity levels have been used for the contamination of the fish. It has been found that the release of both radionuclides differs for the two fish species under investigation. It was possible to estimate the radiation dose delivered over a 50 years period, to a person who eats contaminated fish.
