Maggie Gray rounds up the international art news UK 'Olympicopolis' secures £141 million in government support The UK Government will contribute £141 million towards the development of a new cultural and higher education district in east London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, as part of its ongoing National Infrastructure Plan. 'Olympicopolis', as the project has been dubbed by Mayor of London Boris Johnson, will include new university campuses for University College London and University of the Arts London, plus additional venues for Sadler's Wells dance theatre and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Looted works will be restituted to their rightful owners and the remainder will pass to the Swiss museum, with unresolved cases published on the online database www.lostart.de.
