- Results are given from experiments to determine the 96-hour LC50 values of toluene for embryos, larvae, and young fathead minnows, and the lowest observed-effect concentrations (LOEC) for the young fish. The results were similar to those obtained for other fish species. Embryos were more resistant to the toxicant than the older life stages.
