Discusses three exhibition rooms on the ground floor of the Museum of Decorative Arts and Design in Oslo, which were decorated by painter Gerhard Munthe after the museum's move into a larger building in 1904. These rooms contained Norwegian arts and crafts. Considers the relationship that Munthe and the "Lysaker group" had with museum management.
