• The Jordan, Edmiston Group Inc (JEGI) predicted the resulting flurry of M&As before the close of 2012 because of the pending tax changes coming in 2013. And as a result, JEGI also expected lighter-than-normal M&As in 1Q 2013. So far, this shift in the number of deals and subsequent activity has been realized, according to JEGI's third annual "Media Growth Survey," released in early April. There were 353 transactions in 1Q 2013 compared to 374 in 1Q 2012.
