- Gas chromatography/mass spectrometry was used to identify metabolites of aromatic compounds (ACs) in the bile of fish captured in Prince William Sound after the Exxon Valdez oil spill. The use of the liquid chromatographic methods was found to be effective in estimating the exposure of fish to petroleum.
