• M &A activity for 2012 has already made it into the books with a record-breaking 333 transactions for the media, information, marketing services, and technology sectors. The 1Q figures from the Jordan, Edmiston Group Inc highlighted transactions totaling $10.3 billion that reflect a 51% increase in deal volume compared to 1Q 2011. The most activity was reflected in the Marketing & Interactive Services sector where half of the biggest deals occurred in 1Q 2012, including SingTel's acquisition of mobile ad solutions company Amobee Inc and KRG Capital Partner's acquisition of the customer-engagement agency Ansira.
