Reviews the book, Questioni di Psicologia: Principi e Applicazioni per Psicologi, Medici, Insegnanti ed Educatori edited by Leonardo Ancona (1962). This is one of the best summaries of American psychology in the 1960's. The four major sections of this book are: (a) assumptions and methods; (b) perceptual, learning, instinctive, and emotive processes; (c) personality, and (d) applications. Some of the loose points of this book are: Some of the organization of the book is loose. The chapter on group dynamics suffers from a highly speculative approach with little coordination between content and references.
