• The article aims to find the main problems of the aesthetic content of modern architectural creativity, interaction with the latest achievements of science in terms of identifying the specific expressiveness of the material and, in this regard, always topical issues of the architect's creative freedom. The authors focus on discussions about the permissible degree of "violence" over the material and the definition of criteria for its naturalness as a significant part of the theoretical heritage of researchers.
