Bach intended the Orgelbüchlein to be a model for improvisation of melody chorales, ornamental chorales, canon chorales and other miscellaneous forms. IV. "A Pedagogical Approach for the Church Organist". This lecture recital demonstrates how a German chorale can be used to teach a church organist the skills of accompaniment, improvisation, and playing repertoire. VI. Written Project. "A Hymn-Based Resource for the Church Organist"; Times New Roman, 12-point, double-spaced, 99 pages. This project is a pedagogical resource for the intermediate church organist in developing skills in accompaniment, improvisation, and playing repertoire. The project includes units on a plainsong, a chorale, and a carol.
