• We focus on the Almost Stability Theorem, first proven by Dicks and Dunwoody in 1989. We follow along with Dicks' improved proof (Dicks, 2018) and provide a summary of its content in the finitely generated case. We take note of some corollaries of this fundamental result and emphasize one corollary in particular concerning a certain finite index rigidity of group actions on trees
