(2)to Assess The Expressed Practice Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill Among Nurses In Selected Psychiatric Hospitals. (3)to Find Out The Correlation Between Knowledge And The Expressed Practice Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill Among Nurses In Selected Psychiatric Hospitals. (4) To Associate Knowledge And Practice Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill Among Staff Nurses With Their Selected Demographic Variables.Design:Pre-experimental One Group Pre-test Post-test Design.subject:60 Nursing Personnelsampling Method:Structured Interview Schedule And Modified Attitude Assessment Scale.Data Analysis:The Obtained Data Was Analyzed By Descriptive And Inferential Statistics And Interpreted In Terms Of Objectives And Hypothesis Of The Study. The Level Of Significance Was Set At P ≤ 0.05 Level.Results:Overall Pre-test Knowledge Scores Of Nursing Personnel Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill, 38(63.33%) Of Them Had Inadequate Level Of Knowledge And 22(36.67%) Of Them Had Moderate Level Of Knowledge And None Of Them Had Adequate Level Of Knowledge Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill Whereas In Post-test, 49(81.67%) Of Them Had Adequate Level Of Knowledge, 11(18.33%) Of Them Had Moderate Level Of Knowledge And None Of Them Had Inadequate Level Of Knowledge Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill.It Was Observed That, Overall Pre-test Expressed Practice Scores Of Nursing Personnel Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill, 32(53.33%) Of Them Had Poor Knowledge And 28(46.67%) Of Them Had Average Knowledge And None Of Them Had Good Knowledge Regarding Human Rights On Mentally Ill Whereas In Post-test Majority 44(73.33%) Of Them Had Good Knowledge, 16(26.67%) Of Them Had Average Knowledge And None Of Them Had Poor Knowledge Regarding Human Rights On Mentally Ill.conclusion:The Findings Of The Study Concluded That The Stp Was Found To Be Effective In Improving The Knowledge Of Nursing Personnel Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill.
