There are three problems under study. The aluminium flow for different formulations of the flow stress was investigated using FE analysis. The changes in flow stress and its order influence the percentages of thixotropy-like component in material flow during its deformation significantly. Not only the initial technological boundary conditions, but also the geometrical transformations, downscaling the objects, affect the changes in the maximal forces and consequently showing the thixotropic flow ability of the material.
