  • The control design of spacecraft hovering system is studied for the purpose of high precision. Using relative orbital elements to describe the relative motion model between the target spacecraft and the tracking spacecraft has clear geometric meaning and high precision. In order to achieve high-precision relative position and relative velocity tracking, an improved repetitive control scheme is proposed, which utilizes the advantage of repetitive control to accurately track the target signal, and overcomes the traditional repetitive control by adding a non-singular terminal sliding mode controller. The disadvantage of the device being susceptible to aperiodic disturbances. Furthermore, the dynamic performance of the repetitive controller is improved with nonlinear state error feedback, and the unknown nonlinear term of the hovering model is approximated with a radial basis function neural network. Through strict Lyapunov stability analysis, the stability of the entire closed-loop control system is guaranteed.
