phosphate with the structure of the mineral kosnarite have been prepared by spark plasma sintering. Rhenium (Re) has been used as a chemical and structural analog of technetium. The relative density of the ceramics is 85%. We have studied the mechanism of Re leaching from the NaRe
2
(PO
4
)
3
ceramics in static mode at room temperature. The rhenium leaching rate has been determined to be 1.3 × 10

g/(cm

day).
