For the structural analysis of elastic systems, interaction between vibration and fatigue crack growth is a crucial factor. A transverse magnetic field can induce an in-plane periodic force that can lead to vibrations, there by affecting the fatigue crack growth. In this study, we developed a procedure for the coupling analysis of the vibration and fatigue crack growth of a cracked magnetoelastic plate in an electromagnetic field. The cracked plate was assumed to be rectangular and supported on all sides; furthermore, the in-plane force, transverse magnetic field, and damping coefficient were considered.
