  • The purpose of this study is to investigate which principles of the Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprise (SAFe) and the Ross, Beath, and Mocker (RBM) Accountability Framework influence aspects of efficiency and effectiveness in telehealth digital solution development in digital transformation projects. Digital engagement for customers provides a closer connection with product manufacturers, such as in the healthcare industry. Adherence to project management methods provide structure in delivering these applications to consumers. SAFe and the RBM Accountability Framework stand out as structures to guide successful product development initiatives. SAFe is an approach to implementing Agile into daily project management operations. It is based on the processes of scrum and is used by large product development teams and organizations. The Ross, Beath, and Mocker Accountability Framework provides a set of eight core principles closely aligning to SAFe and fosters individualism and trust amongst other key attributes. The research was conducted using a survey of 36 questions to gather data from 83 IT professionals or business owners in the healthcare industry who use the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to develop and deliver telehealth digital solutions. Results of this research conclude that strong adherence to the principles of SAFe provides efficient and effective delivery of telehealth digital solutions. Additionally, it found a strong correlation in using the RBM Accountability Framework with SAFe results in the delivery of these telehealth applications.
