We consider the evolution of the abundance of singly and doubly deuterated isotopologues of water and methanol in a typical protostellar cloud. The main processes determining their abundance in various regions of the cloud have been revealed. We show that the abundances of the deuterated isotopologues can exceed the abundance of the main molecules in a number of cases.
