The village, which dates back to 400 B.C., still has vestiges of the early Middle Ages, the ancient cathedral of S. Cesareo and a number of churches in the surrounding area. The medieval part of Terracina preserves the alleys and one of the most interesting residential buildings of the Medieval period, also typical of lower Lazio in the XIII and XIV centuries. Today the construction of the period from the seventeenth to the eighteenth century prevails. There is a general plan of 1781 which documents and gives us a building complex that should be considered of great historical interest. Around the village there were villas and rural buildings.
