  • Having chosen activities and not specific artifacts indicates that a correct representation and management of consumption dynamics implies identifying and quantifying the data that can be associated with the person or community of people. Since it refers to the service provided by the artifacts, all the dynamics are therefore expressed per individual and not per square meter or per building. The development of design scenarios will have to start from this basic assumption, conditions of use, even partial, of non-renewable sources would lose the fundamental logical connection. Besides the pursuit of deep sustainability principles, and the cancellation of CO2 emissions by 2050, hoped for by the most recent IPCC reports (IPCC, 2018), by the UN sustainability objectives and by the recent Paris agreements imply this basic condition. [...]the greater will be the extension of the productive territory involved in the production of biodiesel (instead of diesel) , as well as the area of photovoltaic solar roofs needed to replace a portion of the electricity used; Furthermore, the greater will be the distance between the place of supply of the material/energy source and the place of consumptions, the greater will be the amount of arable land dedicated to energy crops. [...]the condition expressed above is equivalent to the minimum amount of solar energy used to power the service.
