• Coral reef ecosystems play an important role in the global marine ecosystem. They provide habitat for tropical marine animals and provide food and medicine resources for human beings. They are one of the most productive ecosystems in the world. In order to understand the current status and hotspots of coral-related research at home and abroad, the literature research method was used to statistically analyze coral related research. The article uses the WEB OF SCIENCE database and the Chinese Journal Full-text Database (CNKI) journal papers as the international and domestic data sources. From the perspective of bibliometrics, using Excel to count the number of papers published by the year, the high-frequency words are obtained through Bibexcel. A common word matrix, and Ucinet and Netdraw are used to obtain a co-word network visualization map.
