Beschreibungen/Notizen
While many of our readers practice oral history in archives, libraries, museums, historical societies, community organizations, and other public venues, a large number teach in the classroom at several levels of instruction. Students, either individually or in groups, learn to practice the craft by reading about theory and methodology, undertaking background research, arranging and conducting interviews, transcribing, editing, and writing papers or developing other "end products" such as photo-oral history exhibits, CD-ROMS, and dramatic presentations. The assistance of the OHA officers and Executive Secretary, its Publications Committee, and the OHR Editorial Board and our anonymous referees, contributes immeasurably to assuring the quality of this journal as does the support of the University of Connecticut. 1 For an edited version of the roundtable discussion, see Timothy P Fong and Ava F. Kahn, "An Educational Exchange: Teaching Oral History on the Post-Secondary Level" in this volume. 2 For a list of theme issues, see the Cumulative Index, 1973-1995, Vols. 1-22 in the Oral History Review 23, no. 1 (summer 1996): 18-192.
