• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological disorder that impacts an individual’s ability to function, with a specific emphasis on language deficits. Research has shown that individuals with ASD require extensive functional life skill training. A multiple baseline across participants design was utilized in order to determine the effectiveness of the PEAK-T Modules to teach individuals with ASD to sort white, light-colored, and dark-colored laundry. Individuals were taught to sort laundry using various clothing item stimuli. Results from the study showed that all three participants reached mastery criterion in all training sessions and were able to derive new relations without direct training and apply the learned skills to novel stimuli. Implications and proposed future directions for research are discussed.
