• A case study of a nocardiosis as a new type of opportunistic infection mimicking disease progression in a 77-year-old melanoma patient with a nivolumab-related immune-related adverse events (irAE) is presented. Central nervous system manifestations appear to be the most common extrapulmonary locations of nocardiosis. Because the patient did not show bacteraemia or any symptoms such as headache, vomiting, seizures or alterations in consciousness, a brain magnetic resonance imaging was not performed.
