• A study conducted by Marcus et al which focuses on the aesthetic rationality is presented. They argue that the aestnetic domain resides inside the scope of rationality and, furthermore, that it does so in its own way and contends that just as a theoretical judgment is a stance on whether to believe p and a practical judgment is a stance on whether to do x, an aesthetic judgment is a stance on whether to appreciate. Aesthetic judgment, properly understood, is reducible neither to a judgment about what to believe nor to a judgment about what to do.
