This article is written as a reaction to pretended congratulations which were published by the newspaper "Frankfurter Rundschau" the 5th June 2008 on behalf of the 125th birthday of Keynes. The poisoned arrows hidden in the congratulations by Bert Rürup and Hans Werner Sinn follow a long tradition to defend the dominant (neoclassical) school against the assault by the "General Theory" of Keynes. Two strategies are discussed which are used by Rürup and Sinn. The first strategy tries to restrict the scope of Keynes' theory to special situations (of depression, of the short run, or of rigid wage), whilst the second aims at a correction of pretended wrong interpretations of Keynes.[PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
