- Translation from original language as provided by authorSince 1999,when "Falun Gong" was forbidden by Party and government,Cult issues has begun to cause wide social concern. Under this circumstance, China Anti-cult association was founded in 2000. Then numerous Anti-cult Associations were set up around the country one after another, which became an important social force to fight against the cult. It has been 11 years since its foundation of China Anti-cult association which had achieved great results on contacting and uniting with the social forces from all walks of life, exposing and criticizing the cult and raising the awareness and capacity of precaution to the cult. It also gained certain international recognition and support through international exchange and foreign-related struggle. While obtaining many experiences and achievements, The Anti-cult Associati-ons of China are also faced with the problem of lacking vigor for growth.
