It does not produce harmonic and has lower loss in the run-time. This paper is focus on the research of a dynamic reactive power compensation of TSC based on DSP. (1) The significance of reactive power compensation and the impact of reactive power to the grid and electrical equipment is introduced in this paper. The types of reactive power compensation control device and classification of power compensation of TSC is also introduced, which gives a general introduction of reactive power compensation.
