And in the procedure of management, inventory control is found to pay an important role in the decrease of cost of supply chain and the increase of service level.So, research about the method of inventory control is needed. Firstly, it introducted main inventory management model -VMI, CPFR, JMI, analysis the characteristics, therefore concluded the advantage of the distributed inventory management. And then distributed inventory management strategy based on lateral transshipments is focused. It analysis optimal strategies from the simplest model
