  • Translation from original language as provided by authorFor decades, the study of the magnetic nanoparticle films has become one of the most active areas of research due to its recent advances in high-density magnetic recording techniques. In this paper, the magnetic properties of a disordered nanoparticle film with the applied magnetic field perpendicular and parallel to the film are simulated by a Monte Carlo method. The effect of both the interaction between particles and the width of anisotropy angular dispersion are considered. The main jobs and conclusions are as follows. 1. When the external magnetic field is exerted perpendicular to the film, the dependence of dipole-dipole interaction (D) and exchange interaction (J) on hysteresis of nanoparticle film is simulated. It is found that in a system including only dipole-dipole interaction, the dipole-dipole interaction restrains the system to be magnetized. With the increase of the dipole-dipole interaction, the hysteresis loops are elongated horizontally
