In [4], the authors have developed a fast three steps procedure: 1) A set of reference PF are estimated using path sampling. 2) At a given temperature level, linear regression with respect to the clique number is performed to approximate the reference PFs. 3) Linear regression coefficients are directly exploited to interpolate the PF attached to any test grid. While this approach may provide accurate results on regular grids (RG), it seems impractical whenever non-regular grids are considered. Since brain parcellation involved in the Joint Detection-Estimation (JDE) context of brain activity [5-6] appears to be made up of non-regular parcels, we propose two extensions.
