In developing the AUI for HF document, the joint Radiology and Cardiology writing panel implemented a process that evaluated the technical abilities of the multiple imaging modalities being rated and the evidence for each modality with respect to the clinical indication and the imaging parameters important to each clinical indication. [...]the method for development of this AUI for HF document highlights the best aspects of both the current ACR and ACCF processes.
